Rita Moore

Realtor®

Austin native Rita Moore combines local expertise with a broad, international perspective gained from living in many interesting places in the world, from Ethiopia to Hong Kong to Brazil. Rita was happy to return home to Austin, growing her family alongside the city’s dynamic culture and natural beauty. Her career as an agent has allowed her to give back to her hometown after years of building a business that provided private residential facilities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Texas.

Rita has been an active agent since the 1990s and offers her clients a wealth of industry knowledge and local expertise in the ever-exciting Austin market. She loves meeting new people — local and international — and listening to every detail to help them achieve their goals. Rita is proud to offer an intimate, hands-on Realtor® touch that guides and advises buyers and sellers as needed. She works to know all the ins and outs of her listings as well as the homes she will show to a buyer well before she takes them to see a property.

Rita’s career in real estate grew out of her genuine love for her community and her excitement in watching the development of her hometown. Aside from experiencing the changes directly, her market education also progressed through her own family while they were experiencing the growth as local teachers and professionals in the medical community. During this time, they were actively building on and developing land throughout Austin and the Texas Highland Lakes areas. This contributed strongly to her interest in real estate.

Rita is an active member of her community. She shares her experiences as a resident of this great city with her clients, including the many beautiful country clubs, grand lakeside resorts, and the Hill Country. Rita volunteers with local schools as a member of Partners in Literacy and works with various Austin charities to provide meals, housing, and mentoring to encourage hope for those in her community. She always has time to enjoy and help her grandchildren in their sports and community activities. Even though she’s so busy, Rita always has time to cheer for the Texas Longhorns as energetically as when she was a young teen growing up in this once-smaller college town.
